Update 'Project Optimise Tool' For Unreal Engine 5.5
Unreal Engine 5.5 had been in preview for a while but this week Epic Games officially released version 5.5.
With that I was able to port my 'Project Optimise Tool' into UE 5.5 and give it a good test. Everything was working correctly so I put the new version up and available on my itch storepage!

If you don't know what my 'Project Optimise Tool' is, you can see it action below. In the GIF I'm searching through my entire project for any static meshes which do not have any LODs set. (As you can see it finds 59!)
It helps you identify potential problems and uncover optimization opportunities in your Unreal Engine 5 projects. There are three main areas that you can look into with it:
Optimisations:
- Search for 19 different types of optimisations
- Spread across 8 asset types
Bugs:
- Search for 10 different types of bugs
- Spread across 7 asset types
Naming Checks:
- Check for assets not using consistent naming conventions
- Define the prefixes you prefer to use in your own projects
